ENGINEERING

Many of our clients rely on our engineering team to help them refine their product designs to improve manufacturability, lower lead times, decrease costs and improve usability.  

No matter where you are on our project, our engineers can step in and see it through to final production. This includes providing industrial design, 3D-modeling, mechanical drawings, reverse engineering and re-engineering. They can also provide MoldFlow® analysis, FEA (finite element analysis) and a complete manufacturabilty analysis to ensure that your product will be produced in the most cost-effective manner possible. 

PROJECT MANAGERS

Overseas contract manufacturing always fails when communication breaks down. Not just communication between client and manufacturer, but also within the manufacturer's internal organization. Instructions, directives and general feedback must be disseminated thoroughly to each team member. That responsibilty falls directly to the project manager. 

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality issues are a fact of life on any manufacturing job and we take great pride in our quality team. We've been through our share of audits by some of the toughest players in the world an have not lost a single project. Unlike most of our competitors, we have our own quality team that inspects and takes responsibility for every single part that we pass on to our client. In other words, the buck stops with us. 
 This single-point of contact for quality helps eliminate the problems common with contract manufacturing in China. Our testing equipment is top-notch and our people are trained to use it correctly. Moreover, our people can adapt to your specific methods for quality inspection and assurance.

TOOLING SPECIALISTS

We have spent the last decade working to establish and maintain the best working relationships with premier suppliers in China. As such, we are able to match the right supplier to meet the customer's product requirements and cost targets. We continuously monitor and audit our manufacturing partners to ensure that quality remains at the highest level possible. 

LINE WORKERS

A major pitfall that one encounters when assembling in China is the lack of quality due to the high turn-over rate of assembly employees. Many assemblers move from job to job as work ebbs and flows. Training becomes extremely difficult and mistakes that were thought resolved often reappear. 

Amlife avoids this by permanently employing a core assembly team. We've tailored our entire employee compensation package to ensure a much lower turn-over rate (less than 5% per anum). This means our experienced team can move from one assembly job to another with experience and knowledge. Training time and mistakes are considerably reduced. Quality issue loops are closed and stay closed.
