USA Science Daily Web site in May 25 journal published entitled "the use of wind solar hybrid renewable energy outdoor lighting" reported that, as a result of the ongoing hybrid renewable energy, an innovative with enhanced shield from wind turbines and solar battery board powered outdoor lighting system was installed in the campus of the University of Malaya in Kuala lumpur.

In order to make use of solar energy, a solar photovoltaic panel is mounted to the top surface of the ODGV to generate solar.
